Teresa Kearney, Vice President of Sales, Panacea Payroll
About Teresa: Teresa Kearney of Limerick, PA, is the Vice President of Sales, for Panacea Payroll, a comprehensive business services solutions provider for the cannabis industry. Teresa earned her Bachelor of Science in Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed graduate study in Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University. She is married, loves to read, and travel all over the United States to visit her four children.
Teresa has been in the sales field for over 30 years and began working for Express Data Systems in 2010 as a Sales Director. Teresa helped create and develop Panacea Payroll and was promoted to Vice President of Sales for both companies in 2020. When she started with Express Data Systems, she had a good feeling about the company. She notes that she always felt cared for and appreciates the small family-owned business model. In her role at Panacea, she feels trusted by the owners and feels honored to be working in the ever-changing cannabis industry. She is never bored and loves to go to conferences, travel and meet interesting contacts. The atmosphere in the industry is very exciting!
Teresa’s experience with The Job Exchange: Teresa was working for a third-party contractor at a local pharmaceutical company. In 2007, Teresa met Lori. They knew each other for about three years, when Teresa found herself unemployed during the height of the Great Recession. Lori suggested that she interview at Express Payroll for a Sales Director position. As a single mom, Teresa decided to take a leap of faith and change industries. She says that she knew that if she were taught the product, she could sell it! Turns out, that was exactly what happened! Teresa feels Lori and her team sent her many opportunities, never pressured her, and walked her through all aspects of the job search. Teresa and Lori continue to stay in touch to this day!
