It's important for you to know that no one has ever secured a new job on the basis of a resume alone. The person who gets the job is the person who does the best job of selling themselves during the interview process. You have to convince a hiring authority that you are the best person for their job and that you will fit in with their company culture. No piece of paper will do that for you.

A resume cannot tell the entire story of your life, work experience, skills and work ethic. The most effective resumes are limited to one page (two pages max). Your resume needs to be a concise written summary of your work experience, education and most importantly your accomplishments. You need to highlight what set you apart from your competition. The best way to this is to detail your accomplishments and impact they had on your past employers.
